Expo 2020 Dubai was a six-month global event designed to showcase the stories of nations and foster cross-cultural connection. I was hired to help tell the story of countries on a national level—working closely with ministerial teams and governments to craft narratives that would come alive within their pavilions. The goal was to ensure each nation had a strong, distinct voice, using storytelling as a tool to shape perception, build cultural ties, and enhance tourism potential.
I contributed to over 10 national pavilions as well as two international organisations—the United Nations and the African Union. The event went on to attract 2.5 million visits, positioning itself as one of the most successful World Expos in history and amplifying the global visibility of the countries and organisations represented.
